Test DetailBenefitsApplication Process

Passing Scores:

  • For DVM and Engineering programs (Faculty of Agri. Engineering & Technology), the passing marks in the entry test are 50%.
  • For other degree programs, candidates with 50% or below marks can apply, but admission will be strictly on merit.
  • The merit calculation is typically based on a ratio of:
    • Matriculation: 30%
    • Intermediate (Part-I) or equivalent: 30%
    • Entry Test: 40%

Test Format:

The entry test is typically an MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based test. The subjects included in the test vary depending on the degree program you are applying for. Common streams include:

  • English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • English, Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science
  • English, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics
  • And many more combinations depending on the specific program (e.g., those involving Economics, Accounting, etc.).

You can often find "Specimen of Entry Test" or "Question-Bank" on the UAF website under the downloads or admissions section to get an idea of the format and types of questions.
