Eligibility Criteria:

• Undergraduate:A minimum percentage in HSSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent, such as O/A Levels, American High School Diploma, or International Baccalaureate. Specific percentage or grade requirements differ for each program. For example, a minimum of 70% marks in HSSC or an average grade of 'B' in 8 O Level subjects might be required.
• Certain programs may have specific subject prerequisites.
• Meeting the required score in the accepted admission tests (SAT/ACT/LCAT).
• Graduate:A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university, with a minimum CGPA or percentage as specified by the program. For some programs, a minimum of 16 years of education is required.
• Some programs, like the MBA, may prefer or require work experience.
• Meeting the required score in the accepted admission tests (GMAT/GRE/NTS GAT/LGAT).

Necessary Documents:

Applicants are generally required to submit the following documents with their online application:

• Scanned copies of academic transcripts and certificates:
  • Matric/O' Level/American High School (9th and 10th grades)
  • FA/ICOM/FSc./ICS (complete results or first-year results if final exams are pending)
  • A' Level (completed subjects or first-year results if final exams are pending)
  • American High School Diploma (complete result or 12th-grade first semester's result)
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) (complete or first-year results)
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree transcripts and degrees (for graduate programs)
• Equivalence Certificate from IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairmen) for degrees other than Matric/FA/FSc.
• Score reports of required entrance tests (SAT/ACT/LCAT/GMAT/GRE/NTS GAT/LAT). Ensure that the scores are officially sent by the testing agency to LUMS. The LUMS code for GRE/GMAT is 0679.
• Two Letters of Recommendation (for some graduate programs). These are usually submitted online by the referees.
• Personal Statement or Essays, as required by the specific program.
• Copy of CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) or passport.
• Passport-sized photographs.
• Application processing fee payment proof.

Required Entrance Tests:

The required entrance tests depend on the school and program you are applying to:

• Undergraduate:Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities & Social Sciences (MGSHSS), Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL): SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) or ACT or LUMS Common Admission Test (LCAT).
• Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE): SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) or ACT or LUMS Common Admission Test (LCAT), and the LUMS SBASSE Subject Test (for local applicants). Overseas applicants might need to submit SAT Subject Test scores instead of the LUMS SBASSE Subject Test.
• BA-LL.B (Honours): SAT or ACT or LCAT, and the Law Admission Test (LAT).
• Graduate:MBA: GMAT or GRE or NTS GAT (General) or LUMS Graduate Admission Test (LGAT).
• MS Programs: GRE (General) or NTS GAT (General) or LUMS Graduate Admission Test (LGAT). Some MS programs in SBASSE may also require the GRE Subject Test for overseas applicants and the LUMS SBASSE Subject Test for local applicants.
• PhD Programs: GMAT or GRE.
• MPhil Education Leadership and Management: GMAT or GRE or NTS GAT (General) or LUMS Graduate Admission Test (LGAT).

• Merit Scholarships: Awarded to top-ranking undergraduate students based on their academic performance in the admission evaluation. These scholarships may cover partial to full tuition fees for the first year and are also available for returning students based on their CGPA.

Complete Application Process:

The general application process at LUMS involves the following steps:

1. Account Creation: Visit the LUMS Online Admissions Portal and create an account using a valid email address.
2. Selection of Degree Program: Choose your preferred degree program. You may be able to select up to two program preferences.
3. Filling the Online Application Form: Provide accurate and complete information in all sections of the application form. You can save your progress and complete the form in multiple sessions.
4. Uploading Supporting Documents: Scan and upload clear, legible copies of all required documents as per the document checklist.
5. Payment of Application and Test Registration Fees: Download the system-generated fee voucher and pay the required fees by the specified deadline.
6. Online Submission of Financial Aid Application (if applicable): If you intend to apply for financial aid, you need to indicate this in the admission application and submit a separate financial aid application with supporting documents after paying the application fee.
7. Submission of Teacher's Evaluations/Letters of Recommendation (if applicable): For some programs, you will need to provide the contact information of your referees who will then submit their evaluations online.
