• The City Law School Dean's Scholarship for Academic Excellence: This is a full-fee scholarship awarded to the most outstanding candidates across all postgraduate and professional programs.
• The City Law School Scholarship for Academic Excellence: The value of this scholarship varies depending on the program:
  • LLM (Master of Laws): £5,000
  • Bar Vocational Studies (BVS): £3,000 to £4,000 (depending on the route of study)
  • Graduate Entry LLB (GE LLB) & Solicitors' Practice Programme (SPP): £3,000
  • Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL): £2,000
• The City Law School Bar Vocational Studies Scholarship: £2,000 for outstanding applicants to the BVS program who have a first-class undergraduate degree. This is often automatically awarded if you meet the criteria.
• The City Law School Solicitor's Practice Programme Scholarship: £2,000 for outstanding applicants to the SPP program who have a first-class undergraduate degree. This is also often automatically awarded.
• Doctoral Studentships: These typically include:
  • An annual bursary (currently £21,237 per annum, subject to change).
  • Full tuition fee waiver.
  • Research expenses (up to £1,000 over three years).

Application Process:

• For BVS & SPP: Eligible students will be invited to apply after receiving an offer.
• For GE LLB, GDL, and LLM: Applicants can apply for scholarships after receiving an offer, without waiting for an invitation.
• Bar Vocational Studies Scholarship: Applicants with a first-class undergraduate degree are automatically awarded a £2,000 scholarship upon enrollment in the BVS program; no separate application is required.
• Apply for Admission: First, you need to apply and receive an offer (conditional or unconditional) for an eligible degree program at The City Law School.
• Scholarship Application: Once you have an offer, you can usually apply for the scholarships. For the City Law School Dean's Scholarship for Academic Excellence and the City Law School Scholarship for Academic Excellence, you typically need to submit one application that will be considered for both.   
• Check Specific Instructions: The application process might vary for different scholarships. For some scholarships, like the Bar Vocational Studies Scholarship and the Solicitor's Practice Programme Scholarship, you might be automatically considered if you meet the eligibility criteria (e.g., holding a first-class undergraduate degree).
