Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a non-EU/EEA international student
- Must have (conditional) admission to a UT Master’s program starting September 2026
- Must have a UT student number
- Must not be a UT graduate
- English proficiency:
- IELTS: ≥ 6.5 overall, min 6.0 speaking
- TOEFL iBT: ≥ 90 overall, min 20 speaking
- Must comply with Dutch visa requirements
- Academic excellence: top 5–10% of your class
Required Documents
- Valid passport/ID
- Academic transcripts & certificates (with translation if needed)
- Proof of English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL)
- Admission/conditional offer letter + UT student number
- Statement of purpose / motivation letter
- CV / Resume (recommended)
- Letters of recommendation (sometimes requested)
- Proof of funds to cover remaining costs (if asked)
- No GRE/GMAT required
- English language test (IELTS/TOEFL) required
Scholarship Benefits
- Financial support: €3,000 – €22,000 per year
- Covers study costs (not always full tuition & living expenses)
- Renewable for 2nd year (for 2-year programs) if conditions met
- UTS recipients may also qualify for the Kipaji Scholarship (extra funding)
Application Process
- Apply for admission via Studielink & UT’s portal → get UT student number
- Receive (conditional) admission letter
- Log in to UT Scholarship Finder → apply for UTS
- Submit documents + motivation statement
- UT evaluates on academic excellence + potential
- Scholarship results announced within ~8 weeks
- Accept award, arrange visa & housing
- Start studies in September 2026
